Would It Be Wrong To Have My Father Live Longer Than Me?

Postby Destry » Fri Sep 29, 2017 6:29 am

I have kept myself alive for the past three years even though every moment i live is filled with awfull physical pain and discomfort . I start the day with dry heaves and from there it gets worse . A good day is after that I can eat something that alows me to function in a normal way .

I promised myself that I would not let him experience the passing of his son for i know it will not be good for him as he is at the end of his life.

I am so sick all the time and feel that i am torturing myself for a reason that i may not clear on .

Is it ok for me not to suffer any longer even though it will cause the the end of my Dads life to have the sorrow that goes with losing his son that he loves .

Yes, it would be wrong. It's not okay to selfishly end your own suffering when you know it will cause someone else's pain.

You will just have to learn to cope with your symptoms better. Pray for healing and a long life. You don't want to disappoint your dad.
