Would An Inflatable Bounce House Business Be Profitable?

Postby Liberio » Sat Sep 02, 2017 9:40 pm

If you have any experience with inflatable bounce house businesses, let me know.
I have looked into starting a bounce house business but I've heard a lot of horror stories about them.
I would have to 1) buy the supplies which would cost about $4000 for 3 houses and all of the extras, 2) buy insurance which would cost $500-$1000/year per house, 3) get a permit and licenses, 4) advertise, and 5) find renters.
I have calculated that if I can rent a bounce house 3 times/weekend at $150 for 8 hours (which is the norm in my area), it will take about 13 weeks to recover my startup costs (I am calculating on a startup cost basis of $6000).
I am fine with that as long as I am able to find renters.
So, if you have any experience with that, let me know please.
