You will have to ask an insurance company what insurance might cost you. NOBODY else knows.

Will this lower my insurance?

An insurance company uses a few things to calculate the premium (price) of insurance. Your age, years of driving, type of vehicle, cost to repair it etc.

You can't change your age or years of driving at first but as you get older your driving record will alter that.

If you buy a car that is considered a sports car the premium will be higher then one that is not. If it's a car that's expensive to repair the premium will also be higher.

The Camry is considered a sports car, a station wagon is not. The age of the car also comes into the equation on the cost to repair. New cars and very old cars cost more to repair. Old ones because the parts may be hard to find.

You would be better off with a small car like a Honda civic size from the 90's. Its not a sports car and it's between new and old.

A Camaro is considered to be a "sports car'. This will raise your insurance premium.

Considering it age....30 years old...you will have a difficult time finding parts for it, unless you like searching through junk yards. Over 25 years old....you may be able to register it as an antique.

Because of it's age, you probably won't be able to get collision/comprehensive insurance....only liability insurance.

For lower insurance rates try convincing your parents to add your car to their policy....knowing that if you get a ticket, or have an accident, their insurance premium will double or tripple.

Go to an insurance agent that represents more than one company. Ask them to shop around for you, and get you 3 estimates on the cost of insurance....also what kind of car is cheaper to insure.

Until you're 25, or get married, you'll be in the demographic with the highest car insurance rates. Your cheapest option is to be added to your parents policy.

Ask an insurance agent. Geez, is this not logical? This question keeps coming up for some reason. For any questions about car insurance you need to call an insurance agent. Simple. Clear. Logical.
