Will Obamacare Further Aid In The Decline Of Quality Healthcare In America?

I don't know a lot about it, but I do know that the current state of healthcare today is a corrupt, overpriced, depersonalized assembly line.
I had an elderly patient that had seen our doctor years ago complain to me about how he waited forever to get in, do tons of paperwork, rushed while seeing the doctor, written a prescription and rushed out.
He said it was like an assembly line.
I couldn't say anything because I agreed with him.
Just Wednesday I had an appointment and was rushed the Doctors didn't even address another problem I was having, looked at me for 20 seconds and prescribed two medications.
One which was very powerful, the other very expensive.
Both I'm sure in which a very attractive pharmaceutical rep dropped off plenty of free samples along with lunch for every employee in the building along with their usually spiel about how this new and expensive medication works better than any other.
Lies.
Anyway, I told her I didn't want the oral medication after asking her how long I would have to take it and finding out it would be three months and figuring it might have horrible side effects and could be dangerous. She didn't go over the side effects nor or even bother to really have a conversation with me about what I was willing to take.

Medical care is no longer has any care in it.
For what reasons I sure there are many, but too many people blame the insurance companies.
Why should the insurance company pay for a new and more expensive drug when an older and just as effective drug is still out there? Most people don't know but certain types of Medicaid don't pay for anything.
Only 20% of the doctor's visit and the hospital/doctor office just writes it off.
So one gets paid at all.
Many doctor's offices don't accept Medicaid for this reason, but will Obamacare require it? I don't get paid much at all as a low level employee at a doctor's office.
The only people getting paid are probably the doctors and even some of them don't get paid enough to pay off their college debt.
So where is the money going? This is causing us to have an assembly line of patients in order to bring in enough money.
There is so much paperwork that needs to be done it takes up most of patient care time.

What I need to know is what Obamacare will do about our healthcare crisis.
It is complex and certainly can't be fixed by giving everyone healthcare.
Too many medications, tests, procedures, etc. are being ordered that aren't necessary. If everyone gets health insurance they will instantly be brought into the assembly line, diagnosed with some bs disease or condition, prescribed expensive, useless, and dangerous drugs, given test they don't need, and drain unlimited funds from the system.
I pay a $1,200 premium for medical care and have already cost the insurance company $3000 for an MRI that really wasn't necessary and other care that I could have honestly read about and done myself on the internet.
None of which even helped.

I am worried and don't see any solutions to our problem.

Name for us the ONE thing that improved under interference by the federal government.
(Theme from "Jeopardy" plays.) Why should obama-no-care be the first?

I will suggest two books for you.

1. Doctor in the House by Michael Burgess

2. Common Ground by Adrian Murray

Both of these books explain the Affordable Health Care Act and how it will affect the cost of health care for the individual families.

The reason so many tests are done is because of the high litigation rates on doctors.
Texas did a some legislation that limited some of the lawsuits against doctors and that helped lower some health insurance rates.
However, in some state, under Obamacare the insurance rates of families will not go down as promised by Obama.
Instead they will rise up to 80% in some states.

Did RomneyCare lower the quality of healthcare in Massachusetts? Because they're the the same thing.

The status quo was not working with health care.

Obamacare could be a huge failure but it can't be worse than the current healthcare insurance crisis this nation has endured since the 1990s.
Something had to be done and no one was willing to tackle it until recently.
This was a gamble worth taking.

It is very important that poor people and people who have lost their jobs and their health insurance be left to die in the streets.
We want more poverty, disease, and death in this country.
We must cut taxes for the rich.
Nothing else matters.
The rich deserve everything.
Millions of people dying in the streets doesn't matter at all.
China and India got along that way for hundreds of years, we can, too! Forward, back to the Dark Ages!!

What many of us have said from the beginning is that Obamacare is actually going to make the situations you described worse especially when our doctors are bogged down with government red tape and tons of paperwork.
Last year I attended a lecture on Obamacare given by some respected Doctors in our area, basically they explained that when a patient comes in that is on Obamacare, the first appointment has been designed for the doctor and only certain issues will be allowed to be addressed according to the guidelines, doctors will have to tell patients that if further issues need to be discussed or addressed the patient will need to make another appointment.
If we think Doctors have little bedside manners now wait until they are forced to take on hours of paperwork, patients that have never seen a doctor and the government red tape. Thank you to our government for once a good making a boondoggle out of our healthcare system.

You should keep these short and sweet. But I agree, Obamacare is *designed* to be unwieldy, cumbersome, and expensive without the usual care we are used to.

Don't forget, it's not just the 2,700 page nightmare, our politicians came up with. Remember, they wrote this pile of excrement, but even they don't understand it, and they "had to pass it to see what was in it."

Even better, is the seven feet, or 17,000 pages of additional regulations and exceptions accompanying Obamacare.
