Why Should Americans Have To Pay For Their Own Health Insurance?

Postby chang » Mon May 01, 2017 6:31 pm

It's not like its worth it, American doctors (at least the ones in Florida) don't really make you better they just refer you all around to different doctors.
Doctors can't even fix a broken back. It seems all they do is prescribe medication that patients have to take for the rest of their lives. So why should anyone pay monthly for health insurance if no health problems will ever be fixed. Only useful thing I can think of that health insurance will cover is emergency medical attention but that's about it.

Well thats what insurance is, you pay in advance in case of a catastrophic event like an accident or serious illness that costs thousands of $$. The problem is when you dont pay hospital and doctor bills, they then bill the government for some of that, and they increase their charges for insured patient services which in turn results in higher insurance rates.

The question is what percentage human beings choose more beneficial than strong quaint Catastrophic insurance? Up until eventually the overdue 1970's maximum individuals had Catastrophic insurance. it would want to conceal in case of twist of destiny or significant ailment, besides the indisputable fact that the guy might want to pay for checkup's recurring workplace visits out of pocket. It develop into less expensive and individuals were no longer likely bankrupt paying massive medical expenses in case of serious ailment. One issue with this develop into that docs places of paintings and clinics had to compete because the buyer shopped round. Now with HMO's, PPO's therapy has lengthy gone up critically in cost because human beings do not pay out of pocket and aggressive forces no longer exist to save expenditures down. contained in the 1970's and earlier human beings might want to manage to pay for an workplace visit, and individuals did not pass in to the medical specialist for each little difficulty because it develop into in basic terms a small co-pay. immediately, regardless of the actuality that in case you may want to hit upon a agency that sells catastrophic well being coverage, the price of workplace visits is inflated a lot the conventional Joe can no longer manage to pay for it. an effortless rule of thumb, The more beneficial you subsidize something the more beneficial you receives and the more beneficial intense priced it is going to develop into.

I agree that the health care given by a great many doctors does not improve the patients' health.

The whole system is broken, not just the method of paying for it.

No such thing as free health care, someone always has to pay. The worst part about big insurance is that some people who can pay, and are even willing to pay, are not allowed to. Single payer is the way to go, everyone pays, everyone is covered.

I have to agree with you however you are forgetting that most doctors are generalized they do not do specific issues and therefore many of the generalized doctors have to sened you to a specalized doctor

and the over use of drugs is because there has not been many acheivements in new surguries or anything usefull and making drugs is a goverment thing, the companies get money to do that

so in all abit of what you say needs to be studdied but other than that you are corect to a certain degree

Why should people buy cars if they have to pay for oil changes every 3,000 miles?
