Why do Liberals think that the government must remind them to ?

Postby tamas55 » Tue Apr 05, 2011 5:58 am

Why do Liberals think that the government must remind them to buy things ?

Shouldn't anyone over the age of 18 already understand that it is more important to pay your own insurance premiums first than it is to pay for " essentials " like $ 150 sneakers or $ 350 tattoos ?

Why don't Liberals understand " Insurance 101 " ?

If you want auto insurance.....you need to pay your auto insurance premiums

If you want health insurance.....you need to pay your health insurance premiums

If you want life insurance.....you need to pay your life insurance premiums

Are Liberals really so stupid that they never realized they needed to pay for their own health insurance policies until the government reminded them & forced them to buy their own health insurance ?

WAL-MART VERSUS THE MORONS

Wal-Mart First:
1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart , every hour of every day.

2. This works out to $20,928 in sales every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.

8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!
To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,
It is now official you are ALL corrupt morons:
Now for the Morons:

A.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.

B.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
C.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.

D.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.

E.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.

F.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

G.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ??

Why do Liberals think that the government must remind them to ?

For starters, some people can't afford health insurance. It's expensive. Universal healthcare is much cheaper.

Then there's a big ethical problem, in my opinion, when people's health comes down to a matter of profit or loss for an insurance company. Insurance companies don't have an individual's best interest in mind, they are interested in making a profit.

I have spent my whole life in a country with universal healthcare and the idea that someone would pay insurance for healthcare is strange to me. To me, the government has a responsibility to provide universal healthcare just as they have a responsibility to provide the police and fire department. A country where you have to pay 'police insurance' or 'fire insurance' would be in the same vein.

You got it all wrong. They want YOU to pay for it.

Come on now! You know that you owe them the fruits of your labor.

Stop being so greedy. You can do without some of your earnings and you can always send your child to technical school, Community College or they can take out a loan to fund their own education.

It's not a question of "reminding". Human nature being what it is, many people choose not to buy insurance, betting that nothing bad will happen, and when it does, we end up paying their bill.

If everyone has insurance, this problem goes away.

1. A lot of people can't afford insurance = higher premiums for people who can (barely)
2. Even people who do pay their premiums get screwed over
3. Why? Because health care for profit is ineffective

Of course they do! why would they think they have to pay for something when,

Welfare
Medicaid
Section 8
Food Stamps
Cell Phones
and other types of govt assistance programs

already pay their way?
