Which Supplements Should I Take When Weight Lifting ?

I am 20 years old, I have a small frame and want to get bigger. I am very determined and want to begin weight training to make myself look bigger for personal reasons. Along with protein shake which supplement should I be taking ? I was thinking I need some sort of mass gain as I don't have a lot of mass therefore if I was to tone up I would still be small. Please could you advise what exercises I should be doing i.e. an exercise routine for weight lifting beginners. The last time I was in the gym my main problem was I didn't know which dumbbell exercises worked which areas of the body, could anyone help with this ?

the only supplments that are essential are

whey protein

glutamine

you take those steady all year long

maybe a few vitamins

the rest of the stuff like creatine and others u cycle on an off
