What Is The Purpose Of Wildlife In Australia?

Postby Dowle » Tue Apr 25, 2017 11:40 am

To serve as a "governing & moral" example for the "civilized" life.

Think about...they (wildlife) never have need for doctors, city halls, lawyers (big plus), police dept., tax collectors, fractional reserve banking (this alone puts them far ahead of the "civilized"), psychiatrist, funeral service (no dead bodies littering the place), etc.

Wildlife never need us CIVILIZED HUMANS to provide instructions for family planing, dietary needs, drug or alcohol related issues, no worry about vaccines, wars, mandatory insurance, mental health issues, etc. The ones with wings never need "civilized" flight training instructions (watch them choose a branch or twig as they fly through, by, past, under, and over others and land like it's easy as breathing). Yes, there are some stealing & killing but, for the most part, wildlife seem more "civilized" than we claim to be.

Just, think about it...

What Is The Purpose Of Wildlife In Australia?

Wildlife in Australia, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, has no inherent purpose. The organisms that are indigenous to Australia evolved on that continent over millions of years, through the same principles of natural selection and genetic drift that govern the course of evolution elsewhere on the planet. They are perfectly adapted to survive and thrive in their natural habitat, at the very least before the intervention of humans, which began some hundred-thousand to fifty-thousand years ago with the aboriginals who first arrived on that land. In the last few centuries, however, the exploitation and mismanagement of environmental resources has caused increasingly severe damage to many of the habitats of Australian fauna, leaving many species unable to cope and, as a result, in danger of extinction. However, your question has no answer: for humans to assume that every creature has some destined purpose to fulfill, other than to reproduce and live long enough to do so (which is not a purpose, so much as a natural impetus) is highly anthropocentric and represents a distorted and backwards view of the relationship between humans and the rest of the planet.

Same as the "purpose" of wildlife anywhere else.
To survive and continue the species.
