Why Does Mail Go To Trash?

It sounds like your account was hacked and your account information was changed. The first thing to do is to immediately change your password -

If you're unable to change your password, open the link above and click the "Contact Customer Care" link under the Quick Links section to the right of your screen. This should open the "How can we help you?" form.

Under a "Select your Product" select "Yahoo! Account"

Under a "Select your category" select "Password and sign in"

Under a "Select your sub-category" select "unable to sign in"

Click on "Email a Support Agent" and fill out the form.

If you use your Yahoo password at other sites you will need to change the password for those sites as well.
I recommend using a password manager like Keepass to create strong passwords for the sites you visit.
