No way to tell, from information you give, plus it also varies, even if we did have the necessary info. Cost is based on the price of the trip. You can compare plans at insuremytrip.com.

Hello there,

I'm Jamie, the community manager for Travel Underwriters. I'd be happy to get one of our associates to give you a quote if you email [email protected], or you can also buy our travel insurance from BCAA, Allstate, and London Drugs. Here is a list of our brokers across the country: http://travelunderwriters.com/corporate/en/insurewithus/purchase.shtml

Let me know if you have any questions, and have a great trip! Cheers!

A lot of travel agencies will use RBC. http://www.rbcinsurance.com/travelinsurance/index.html
We get ours through our credit union which is cheaper than any others we have used. Always get cancellation, and medical insurance before any trip out of Canada. If you plan on travelling out of country more than once a year, it's cheaper to get a yearly package than paying each time you leave.

It depends upon your age and your deductible. You can get quotes from various sites. Seems to be in the $26 to $50 range. Note that most politics require you to pay for the expenses and then submit them to the company. Most also won't pay any amounts covered by your provincial health plan -- which you must have -- nor beyond a certain time period (i.e. you need to return to Canada ASAP).

Hi there,

You have a chance to pay nothing for a standard traveller insurance package, if you already have one on your credit card. Check the Yahoo Finance Canada publication about traveller insurance protection attached to Canadian credit cards.
