Is This a legit reputable german sheperd breeder?

These are the answer I asked him from the CKC website
Thanks for your interest in our dogs. My kennel is composed of imported German shepherds of
German show bloodlines. All have been selected for their excellent, stable temperaments and correct conformation within the FCI recognized breed standard. They are part of our household and family, living with us in turn and enjoying the country life on our farm. These dogs possess good guarding instinct's and are courageous without showing unwarranted aggression. They are intelligent, calm, trainable and excellent family companions. We have been breeding German shepherds for ten years and are very passionate about the breed.? We definitely meet all the criteria in your questions about choosing breeder ( certification, registration, tattoo, sales contract, health guarantee, health tested and certified parents, CKC membership....)

?Our puppies are 1200$tx, registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, tattooed, de-wormed and very well socialized small children, cats and other dogs. The pups are from parents certified free of hip and elbow dysplasia and in excellent health. I offer a written health guarantee of two years for serious congenital defects including hip and / or elbow dysplasia as detailed in the sales contract. They are ready to go to their new families at eight weeks of age. I also offer a as well as a life long support for you with all things related to the dog (health questions, nutrition...)
The puppies are covered by a six week health insurance policy with PetSecure (coverage of $750)?

Questionable. Do they breed only champions? What working titles do their dogs have? And that two-year health guarantee is worthless given that dogs can't be OFA'd until they're 2 years old. Do they have temperament testing done on their puppies? I'd need to know a whole lot more before making any decisions.

It depends on what you are looking for in a dog. Show lines 'usually' mean good breeding, if they can substantiate them. Anybody can say show line but the last documented champion could be 15 generations back.

If you just want a pet that has good temperament and health, it sounds like they are doing things right. If they're getting their dogs health certified and tattooed then they are willing to spend money on a good breeding program and show off the results with pride.

There are a few more things you can do to check them out. If possible, ask to be put in touch with previous buyers, and their vet. And, if possible, you should visit their facilities before buying. A reputable breeder is proud of their dogs, and the conditions they keep them in. If they only ship puppies, or will meet you somewhere for a drop off, but not let you see where the pup was raised, you should be very suspicious.

my humble opinion

a...i'm not a fan of GSD "show" lines...GSD are working dogs ...lots of people breed for show w/o ANY regard of what a real working gsd should look and act like

"courageous w/o showing unwarranted aggression"...seems like an absolutely empty line that really has no meaning what so ever...just sounds good....dogs are not courageous....they can be stable and well trained ..."courage" is a human quality

and ps...a health guarantee of 2 yrs usually means diddly crap...genetic conditions most often appear and are diagnosed AFTER a dog turns 2 ...not before

other than that...i dont know....

Post a link to their website, please.

As for your question, it's ShepHERD, not Sheperd. I've never heard of a perding dog.

Yes, I'd say so. I'm not a show line GSD fan, but I looked up some of their dog's pedigrees and they come from more of a working background. They have OFA numbers. I'd honestly go for them.
