That Life Insurance Cover The Funeral Services?

depends on how much you have.

but you may not get it right away.

generally the funeral occurs and then you get the money.

BUT, you can get policies for funeral services so that that is all it is used for. You go to a funeral home and get a policy for preneed funeral services. once you sign the agreemnent for lets say $15,000 you then get a policy that pays for it when the person dies.

I am not an expert on this, but as far as I know, you can do whatever you want with insurance money.

If you buy a life insurance policy the benefit can be used by your beneficiary in any way they see fit.
Your beneficiary is most likely going to be someone close to you and therefore a person involved in planning and paying for your funeral.

If you are looking for a policy that will pay for a funeral on death it is normally best to buy a permanent life insurance policy.
This means that the plan will always be in force - even if you live to age 100.
The cost never increases on these plans and in some cases you will not have to pay any more premiums after a number of years.
You can even appoint the funeral home as beneficiary.
Or your estate, with instructions in your will that the funeral is paid first.
But it is normally best to make the beneficiary someone you love and trust to take care of the funeral.

But ANY life insurance policy benefit can be used for the funeral services.

I hope that helps!
