Should i ask for my money back or let it go?

Postby seafra » Wed Aug 15, 2012 1:59 am

I was in a serious relationship for over 3 years. Throughout the relationship my bf borrowed lots of money for me, for things like car insurance, medical bills, and other things that weren't as important as those.

I had always told him that he had to pay me back because I don't have much money to begin with and he agreed. Throughout being together I had asked him for some money back and he would say he would try to get it to me when he could, when we broke up I was still asking for the money back and he said he would try to get it for me when he could. Well 5 months later and I haven't seen any money.

He borrowed well over $1000 for me and I am really struggling for money, should I keep pushing for him to give it back to me?

At some point, you have to realize that you maybe don't get your money ever. But you should always try to get your money back, but it's equal to the time you can make this amount of money.
