Due to tweaks that Microsoft have put into IE 7 & 8 a lot of people can now trace your post and report it, I have, the report will appear on the desk of a police station near you and guess who your next visitors will be, if you do not have the proper documentation for your car you will be wearing stainless steel bracelets and your car will be heading for the crusher, have a happy new year.

What a disgraceful statement to make , is it not obvious that this is a highly emotive subject to families who have had members badly mained for life or even killed due to the lack of personal responsibility in society...and to make light of this criminal offence is utterly shameless on your part. Prats who get behind the wheel knowing full well that they don't have insurance cover for a vehicle should be jailed immediately and their vehicle crushed. TROLL

Emergency treatment is free except if you are in a road accident.

The NGS send out bills for road accident treatment that the insurance companies then pay,

Also the insurance companies pay for compensation and time off work.

No insurance means the car is seized there and then at the road side and then often crushed.

It also means no license.

car insurance isn't to do with the medical treatment at the time of an accident!

it is to do with the replacement and loss!

Life cannot be valued in monitary terms, if you injure someone and they lose a leg the surgery to remove and correct the injury is paid for out of national insurance but the aftercare the loss of earnings the potential for life changing decisions is not catered for.

insurance is their to compensate for this in monitary terms.

Hospital treatment might be Free but somebody got 2 pay for long time off work, if not insured then driver has 2 pay and spend time in jail, guaranteed. also if driver not insured and hit one of my family down then he wouldn't need 2 worry about the police. there are plenty of fields that need fresh fertiliser

We pay out emergency through tax and national insurance ... however what if we are driving with no insurance and hit another car or a building they are not free to replace or fix. Plus if you do knock someone over they are going to want compensation not just for physical damage but psychological, loss of earnings because they cannot go to work ... i could go on but you get the idea :)

I wish people NOT from England and without knowledge would stop answering questions.

If you are not insured then if you hit something or someone you will be sued for damages, injuries and any treatment they received plus loss of earnings and maybe even the cost of care and future care.
Can you afford 3/4 Million Pounds?

If not - get insured.
