Nope one Policy will cover you, And get your European health insurance card they are free from government website and only take a few days to arrive . Great Trip enjoy

No, a single European policy is all you need. Get the EHIC as well which gives you the same level of cover as the locals get. Without this the policy excess may be bigger.

Make sure you are up to date with the motoring regulations in the countries you are driving in.Here's a selection:

France; Reflective jacket in car not in boot, no speed cam warnings, approved breathalyser in car after july, Warning triangle

Germany; no speed cam warnings, winter tyres required in winter, permit needed for driving in some cities. First aid kit needed

There are a few other things so a bit of research is advised

particular, I stay around efficient Ohio. can not rather state precisely the place for saftey motives =D My bf can not have adequate money coverage on his motor vehicle lol, yeah he's broke. The law enforcement officers actual permit him bypass while stopped and asked him for coverage using fact he has a clean checklist. *knocks on timber*

As per the first answer, all you need for cover in EU countries is an EHIC card;
