I'm Moving Into My Own Home, How Much Will It Cost A Month?

Postby Sherwyn » Fri May 19, 2017 6:46 pm

I'm 18 and my mom is giving me her trailer until I am get on my feet. My fiancé and I have some things we want of course but the house already has couches, beds, sink, stove, everything you would basically need. But we want to know how much will it cost us each month. The house is payed off an mom is not making us pay rent. How much will the light water, cable, all of that including insurance. Also my fiancé has a horse he will already bring over and a pit bull. Including all of that. How much will we have to pay a month to get by? We live in Louisiana.

Question: do people age faster in Louisiana then the rest of the US.
Because in your other posts you are only 16 as of three weeks ago.

I've read your other posts.
Honestly, GROW THE F**K up.
You just started to have sex with this guy. And now you want to move in together.
Plus you want to have a kid!!!

I promise you, 5 years from now you will look back on this and feel very very sad.

If it's paid off and you pay no rent, then it will cost you nothing.
We can't possibly guess what your usage of electricity and water will be, or what level of insurance you will purcahse, or what cable package you want.

Electric average is $120 a month, water will vary on usage $40-100 a month, cable\internet $75 a month, dont even bother on insurance for a trailer $300-600 a year, dog food $30 a month.
Kill the horse unless you "know a guy" who sells hay.

You should be paying rent, that is the adult thing to do.
For the rest do a little research, call the utility companies that will be providing the services and ask them for some estimates.
