Lost My Health Insurance. Mn Care Requires 4 Months W/ No Insurance Before They Can Cover U. Any Loopholes?

Postby Zimra » Sat Jan 31, 2015 1:14 am

Looked into 6 mo policy through other health insurance companies since My company should be getting health Insurance again. All policies that are 6 months long cover no doctor visits which is what I need. Does anyone know of some loophole with MN Care or something else where I can get coverage?

Short term policies are designed to cover a catastrophe, not maintenance stuff.
If you want maintenance stuff, you can visit a local agent, and buy a REGULAR health insurance policy, but it's going to cost way more.

There's no loophole.

There are short term policies available in many states that do cover doctor visits, check with a local agent to see if any are available in your area. However, they do not cover pre-existing conditions. Other than that there are no loopholes.
