There is no way that your parents and their insurance company will not find out.

Depends what state you're in and what insurance you have. When you renew your license they don't normally check your record unless you change insurance companies. Also depends on how many points are added to your license in the state the vehicle is registered to/or where you live.

For example, here in new york. Even if I got a ticket for any moving violations, as long as it doesn't reach over 4+ points the DMV does not report it to the insurance companies. However like I said, if you change insurance companies, they will eventually find out.

So in reality, all depends on you're state, the type of insurance you have, how many points you received.

My suggestion,

Save some money, get a lawyer, they aren't that expensive, cant be more then double the ticket, they'll go to court for you, and most likely you'd win.

If you are on their insurance still, 10 over the speed limit will impact the rate at renewal time.
When they call the agent to find out why it increased, the answer will be your speeding ticket, so they will eventually know about it.

You don't want a lecture, so I will just voice an opinion.

You are a relatively young driver, little experience, breaking the law while using your parents to save insurance money.

You have little respect for either the law, or your parents.

You need to grow up, and you need to take responsibility for your actions.
