Income Tax Return- box 14 as S125?

Postby freddie » Fri Mar 22, 2013 9:59 am

My employer put my health care expenses in box 14 as S125. Will I be able to claim this amount?
Is this correct? They said it was due to the Affordable Health Care Act. Another employer listed the what I paid in box 12 as DD-employer sponsored health insurance. I am in WI.

Nope, you can't claim it a second time. These were pre-tax benefits (the S125 refers to the internal revenue code section 125).
