How Would A Buddhism React To Carpe Diem Or Yolo?

Postby Tadhg » Wed Oct 04, 2017 6:55 pm

If Buddhists believe in infinite rebirth until you reach enlightenment, how would they react to people with a 'live life to the full'. After all, surely this is just indulgence and distracts from the idea that you should control your desires and focus on meditation to reach enlightenment or be reborn in a higher form?

How Would A Buddhism React To Carpe Diem Or Yolo?

Hey, but try this: Yes, Christianity is. It is Written.
Hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 5:5. It is written it is written man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. It is written it is written the wages of sin is death as in earlier death, though you would still repent before. At least it's not hell, so I'd take it in a flash so here :) :

Also, obviously, God and Truth win in the end (even undercover/detectives tell the truth, or the mere put-away reveals it all).

It is Written. Job 35:6, 13 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him? If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand? Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man. Whatever evil, or good that you do, it does not physically affect (not even hell physically affects) God. It is duty for

man to wait on God to reveal Himself--don't be among the ingrates! Jesus's felt presence (Deuteronomy 31:6) will be there for those in desperate need and Matthew 9:13 states Jesus wanted to live amongst us again and 12:9 shows related. Thread safely (treating this as sacred extremely important ground). John 9:11: no evolution necessary. By the way, "all have sinned"; "if blind he would have no sin" so people at one point had spiritually known. . .Scientists ?Amazing proof Jesus rose from the dead? and Walter J. Veith from evolutionist to creationist on youtube; Messiah's leadership only spiritual since David's throne's curse of sword, carbon dating not accurate due 1st century's maps evidence of earth splitting (don't know 2 unkwnowns, can't solve for 3rd, also); Don't DISCRIMINATE 1 Corinthians 5:9,10 against sinners (but don't yoke yourself with unbelievers) but sin=still wrong! (including Any-gay, 1 Corinthians 5:11, 13, all is permitted, fate=choose destiny+ fate=destiny's RESULTS, treat as sacred Ground (as Moses told to):)

It is written it is written all have sinned, so all initially were told by God what (not) to do--they felt His presence, that it was wrong. . .(as a child).

I believe dating techniques messed up due to Biblically and externally documented (see early maps of 1st versus 2nd century) earth splitting and oxygen level changes. And also, we didn't know how much was in each item at the beginning (only guess) and in each place/rock, so trying to date anything else(?) has 2 unknowns out of three so can't use (truly various rocks and places).

666=mankind=beast (fornication, rising where it ought not, Fake Christians allowed it. If you are good, keep doing good).

You know, the Bible is different than others. (Be good/wait upon God to reveal Himself, respect demands every ?heathen?--though all have heard of Jesus (through burning bushes/angels/missionaries/God) human do that.) There is only the Trinity God Power, God in Jesus and Jesus in Him. . .(as happiness and thought and surroundings all at once). . .Don't make your future a very, very painful one, you'll regret your not-helping/hurting those that try to help humanity! Your fate is to choose your destiny and to suffer your destiny's choices (in the future and in the present--since God knows people's inclinations). Also for Jewish, there's Daniel's prophecy+ Messiah's spiritual-only peaceful kingdom to David's throne because of David's throne curse (sword/death per generation), so Jesus was the Messiah.

I tried everything.

How Would A Buddhism React To Carpe Diem Or Yolo?

Obviously Yolo is not considered the truth to those who accept that samsara takes place.

Though a primary goal of Buddhism is to attain enlightenment, is also to learn from desire, not just to extinguish them, because that's what you MUST DO. Few Buddhist will tell you, that the pursuit of Buddhism is to only attain enlightenment and escape from samasara. There is that possibility of choosing between finding enlightenment and continuing on circle of rebirth.

Many Buddhist teachers female and male, have talked about this, of how Buddhism doesn't condemn indulgence, but campaigns that moderation is a key tenet of attenuating Dukha (suffering). It only emphasis how happiness can be maintained from the middle-way, which Prince Gautama found in his excursions from wealth, into austerity (into the middle way).

This excursion took on an analogy, of the Buddha witnessing a man tightening his cords on a musical instrument. The perfect pitch is not too tight, or not too loss.
