How Will The Unemployed And People Who Barely Make Ends Meet Be Able To Afford Mandatory Health Insurance?

The good policies cost from $500 a month per person and those around $200 a month per person have deductibles at $5000 and out of pocket maximums at $10,000. I am concerned because management at my company may cut all of us working 40 hours a week back to 28 hours a week to avoid having to meet the requirement to provide health insurance and therefore I will have to pick up a private policy and I am not sure I can afford the premiums or deductibles. I pay a little over $100 a month now but that may stop at the end of 2013.

you are able to optimistically come across a second area time interest. even as the state coverage exchanges bypass up you'll come across a low fee plan to provide you straightforward coverage if thats what you may have the funds for. You do get the tax credit which subsidizes a number of the fee. you make a decision from various plans on your state replace. if you're low earnings you are able to qualify for Medicaidd in spite of if you're over 21 less than the enlargement. And once you've economic difficulty you are able to qualify as exempt from buying coverage and in no way pay the tax penalty.

you don't have to buy the insurance, you can just pay the fine.
Like Mitt says, just get the money from your parents.

That is one of the consequences of relying on your government to take care of your every need.Health care insurance is NOT a right,it is a business transaction between a person and a Company.People that claim it is a right under the Constitution don't seem to be able to find that right anywhere in the Constitution.

Companies like yours are simply making good business decisions. It is cheaper for them to pay the fines than it is to pay health insurance.Your elected officials, being concerned for your welfare, didn't think long enough to consider the ramifications of their legislation and now it is the public that wil pay for their visions of more government involvement into our daily lives.

Mitt Romney?Didn't Obama push for this wonderful turd we now have as a mandate?Let's also not forget that "children" up to the age of 27 can be considered as their parents dependants under this law.If they are that old,why don't they have their own job, their own place to live and be responsible for themselves? And if they are dependants for this law,why aren't they a dependant at 27 for tax purposes?

And you thought the government was here to help, didn't you?

We will do as we've always done and just live with it.
Unfortunately we are getting less and less so called free health care. Serious medical problems are untreated.
Occasionally you can get in with a special program i.e. women over 40 for female exams, children under 21, elderly over 65, disabled on the disability list, eye exams for diabetics. But if you are not qualified under a category for the thing you need you won't be seen even if you have so called free health care. And all these other people will hate you because you supposedly have free health care. There is simply no way for you to afford what you can't afford. You just have to apply for medical assistance and hope you can go to the doctor or hospital.
Forcing people to buy a product is evil and this is the result.
It would have been cheaper and more sane and fair to simply force medical care providers to post their prices, have competitive rates, and bill you. But they quit doing that years ago and the big corps won yet again.
