How long does unemployment insurance last in Illinois?

I know there was recently an extension, but im not sure how much of an extension .Are they offering benefits up to 2yrs??

Following is the schedule of payments for most people (remember, if you had part-time work during your regular OR Federal UI claims, the time frames may be extended):

Regular state funded UI: 26 weeks
Tier I: 20 weeks
Tier II: 14 weeks
Tier III: 13 weeks
Tier IV: 6 weeks

Yes, these extensions will take you to beyond the one year point, but they are all applicable to your first Benefit Year.
