I live in MASS. My hours at my job were first reduced in NOV 08, then I was fired Feb 09.

I started collecting partial benefits in NOV. I have already exausted my first 26 weeks of UI. I am 10 weeks into my first-extension and have 10 weeks left of this one.

I am confused if I qualify for the third one because on the website (listed below) it kind of looks like I have to have run out of my benefits before Dec. 26, 09.

Does anyone know if that's for people who are still on their regular UI? Does anyone have any idea if I should be alright and continue into the EB? That is an add'tl 13 wks. I was at the UI office and the lady told me I had ten more weeks plus an addtional 13 but I don't know if she's wrong.

You are not going to get your answer on yahoo. It really does not matter if anyone reading your question thinks you are going to be alright. You need to contact your local unemployment office and get your answers from them. No one else is going to take care of you and make sure that you have the income to support yourself until you find a new job. You will not find a lot on their website. You need to talk to someone at unemployment that has the answers.

Call the State Employment Office and find current and specific information to your question.
