Be very, very suspicious of ANY offer of cheap auto insurance for teenagers. In reality, teens are charged higher rates because their inexperience and impulsiveness leads them to have the highest accident rate of any group of drivers. Males under the age of 25 are hit especially hard. All you can do is pay the rate demanded of you, and grow older, and don't even get a parking ticket: Insurance companies have unlimited access to your driving record, and yes, even a parking violation or speeding ticket will adversely affect your insurance rates. A PARKING ticket? (!) Yes, even a parking ticket.

Until age 25 is high. Insurance is based on where you live, your age, driving experience, any tickets and/or accidents that stay on your record for 3 years and then drops off.

Your best bet is to call an agent who does business in many companies. They can guide you on what you might be able to do to lower your premium, or explain why your rates will be high.
