What exactly is it?
Should all Americans have the right to health care?

Health care is the act of getting treatment for illnesses, injuries and other medical conditions.
- all American's have access to health care.

Health insurance - insurance towards the cost of health care.
- today not all American's have access to health insurance. Even if they have the money to pay.

No. Health CARE, means, medical services. Medical services are what you buy from doctors and hospitals.

Health INSURANCE, is a third-party product that pays for SOME of your health CARE.

Two different things.

When you insist on health INSURANCE, you're putting another layer of bureaucracy and profits and expenses between you and your health CARE, and logically, increasing your COSTS.

There are a LOT of things MORE IMPORTANT than "free medical care".

Start with, FREE FOOD. We need food MUCH more than we need medical care. FREE UTILITIES. Running water to drink and flush our toilets, heating and a/c to keep our spaces livable. FREE HOUSING. Gotta live somewhere, bro. FREE CLOTHING. So we don't have to walk around naked.

Medical care is not as important as ANY of these. Don't we have a right to FOOD???

No. They are not the same. Healthcare is what you get from a doctor or hospital. They are giving you CARE. But, after you receive healthcare, you receive a BILL. Health insurance will help pay for that bill. If you choose not to have health insurance, then YOU pay the bill.

There is no requirement to have health insurance in order to receive healthcare.
