General Election May 6th 2010?

Postby jarin » Tue Oct 10, 2017 8:32 pm

I am curious to hear who people are voting for, and more importantly WHY?

A few things people need to know before they go voting for the wrong reasons:

Firstly Liberal Democrats want to give amnesty for Britain's approximate 700,000 illegal immigrants, Push us further into the European Union (EU) and adopt the EURO currency, Tackle the Deficit Immediately (although not a bad thing) that means more money from the tax payers pocket (don't be fooled by his charm and his tactic of telling you exactly what you want to hear but not what you need to know.

Secondly Labour (the ones responsible for putting us in the EU) Well they just want every penny they can squeeze out of your pocket to pay off the massive debt they have incurred (no doubt to pay for there second homes and there mothers homes and there auntie's homes and so forth). Just think for a minute, all the road tax you pay, where does it go? Not on the roads -that's obvious. All the Income Tax you pay, Council Tax, And any other Tax, including stealth Tax's? Wouldn't you like to know what its being spent on?

Thirdly Conservatives, Their policies sound pretty good, They want to give more power to the people off Britain, Stop the National Insurance rise (Set by Labour) and tackle the Deficit at a Nice Steady Pace using money that is being wasted elsewhere (not going straight for what we have left in our pockets). However, they do want to launch the Trident Project, Which i'm not fanatical about, I think that money could be better spent putting us into space (maybe even on the moon, wouldn't that be something to tell your grandchildren "we've been to the moon" rather than "we blew a country off the face of this earth and created a nuclear fallout" )

Finally, If we all vote for anyone other than Conservatives on May 6th 2010, Labour gets Power through some loophole to do with how many seats they have.

So, with that in mind, Who you voting for? and more importantly Why?

Lib Dems were the only major party against the Iraq war. They want political reform, fairness, responsibility; want to cut Trident and scrap ID cards, rein in government administration, raise tax threshold, reduce global warming, and invest in science.

And these are their real long-standing policies, not something they?ve just dreamt up for this election, like the other lot.

And BTW, they want to scrap university tuition fees

That?s 11 reasons so far. More at www.libdems.org.uk

And WHY do the Tories want to cut taxes on the wealthiest when they say the top priority is to cut the deficit?

I think it will be independent this time ... have lost faith with the sleaze bags in control now, like the idea of a hung paliament....one at a time from tower bridge seems good to me....
