Federal Income Tax Question?

Postby Avrell » Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:02 pm

If the Anderson get w2s or other source of income, their medical expenses will be subjected to limitation of Schedule A rules. 7.5% of their Med Exp will be deducted from the income, and the Med expenses should beat the standard deduction if they are lucky.
In 2009 the MFJ standard deduction is $13,600. Finally, the IRS does not exclude senior citizens from not filing tax on time if they owe. The Anderson in this case owes $$ to the IRS, they will pay what they owe as every body else, (interest, and penalty) Their expectation is not good.
