Your annual salary is $28,460. Your state personal deduction total $88.00 for a weekly pay periods. The state tax rate is 1.7 percent of gross pay. Medical and group life insurance are paid by the company. Social security and medicare are withheld. Union dues are $156 per year. FIT is $67 per pay period. What is your net pay for each weekly pay period? I got 3$18.94 Also It says social security is 6.2 percent of the first $90,000 and medicare is 1.45 percent of all earnings If i got this wrong can you please explain the steps and tell me how you got your answer I greatly appercate it

We would have to know if your pay is weekly or monthly.

Social Security tax is 4.2% in 2011 for the employee. I have to know how much you get paid and how often.

Everything is taken out with every paycheck.

Have you deducted income tax?
