I'm supposed to be getting it next week. I first got on the pill when i was 14 (just to be safe). My boyfriend and i started dating when i was 15, and after a while we became sexually active so my forgetting to take my pills every once in a while wasn't an option anymore. 15 months ago i went on depo.. And it's wreaking havoc on my body. I had my annual pap this morning and i talked to my gyno and she told me the implant would be a good choice. A couple questions...
1. Personal experience?
2. Side effects?
3. Was it covered by your health insurance, completely or partially, and if partially how much did you have to pay out of pocket?

I had it for the full 3 years and LOVED IT!!!!! no side affects for me. Yes, it was covered.
