Are Joints/bones Meant To Crack/click Easily?

Postby Brammel » Wed Jul 16, 2014 6:55 pm

I find it funny my bones/joints make cracking/clicking sounds very easily, I.E if I so something small like lift my arms my joints click, it doesn't hurt but I was wondering why it happens. My younger brother finds it funny and amusing but I don't know if I should be concerned..

Oh and I am very flexible and double jointed..

I crack a lot too, and I was told it's nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't hurt. It amuses my family too! If your concerned then talk to your GP but I doubt it's anything really :)

There is no reason to be concerned.
The reason for your joints clicking is simple science of the body.
When u move in a certain way and your body stretches, your bones, or joints click due to a build up of nitrogen gas bubbles.

The clicking you hear is the bubbles exploding.

This does happen more to flexible people then inflexible people.
