Go with the Blade (1000cc)

It will kill you quicker than the heart attack your heading for

probably a lot less painful and quicker too.

Your never going to get insurance for it

so maybe a pre paid funeral plan would be a good idea

saving your family the expense.

You will get a free entry into the Darwin Awards.

Neither.

Please tell me why you believe a 150 mph or a 175 mph road racer that has been adapted for use on the street would be A-OK for a beginner?

No one has ever answered my question.

Have you gotten insurance quotes? Are you prepared to pay upwards of $4,000 a year for insurance? Do you have $1,000 budgeted for riding gear? Where will you carry gear? These are terrible machines for riding two up and for long distance.

These are about the worst machines for a beginner.
Both machines will instill bad riding habits and will limit your ability to enjoy riding.

Articles below are required reading.

It is more fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow.
With either bike you will be riding slow.

Both are totally pointless for the street.

Even a 600 is too much bike for a new rider, so I would look at a 500cc single cylinder bike considering your weight being a issue; and really, 280 lbs is an issue not just for a bike but for your health, not knocking you but those are the facts......

New rider and want to buy a bike that can do 0 - 60 in 2 seconds and do nearly 180 mph ?

Forget the bike, you need life insurance.
